Sarah- Jane Brandon
Sarah-Jane hails from South Africa. She began her studies as a postgraduate scholar at the RCM in 2007 and will continue her studies at the Benjamin Britten International Opera School. In 2008, Sarah-Jane won the Maggie Teyte Prize. She has performed at the London Handel Festival and with the Academy of Ancient Music. FCC is delighted to note that Sarah-Jane has recently won the extremely prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Award for young singers.
Richard Pearce was organ scholar at Trinity College Cambridge. He now divides his time between organ playing, accompanying and conducting and has performed throughout Britain, including recitals at the Purcell Room and the Wigmore Hall. Working with choirs is a major part of Richard's work and he works regularly wit the BBC Singers, The Corydon Singers and with the Waverley Singers of whom he has recently been appointed Musical Director.
