The Heath Quartet was founded in 2002 at the Royal Northern College of Music. In 2008 they were selected for representation by YCAT. Over the last year the Quartet has givrn recitals throughout the UK under the auspices of the Countess of Munster scheme, The making Music Concert Promoters Society and the Tunnell Trust.
Since winning the Royal Overseas League Music Competition in 2005, Timothy Orpen has established himself as one of the leading clarinettists of his generation. He made his Wigmore hall debut in 2005 and also appeared at the Purcell Room as an award winner of the Park Lane Group. Timothy has performed widely as a soloist in Europe and has given recitals in Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. Timothy is also a clarinet teacher at Wells Cathedral School
